Fees

Morris Minors is part of the Hertfordshire Flexible Pathfinder initiative. All children eligible for nursery grant funding can receive up to fifteen hours a week of free care and education at
our pre-school.

Additional hours above fifteen and charges for non-funded children are £4 per hour.

A fee invoice will be given out on the first day of each term and payment of any outstanding amount must be made within one week.

A £50 deposit is payable in the first week to secure your child’s place at Morris Minors. This deposit will be held throughout your child’s time at the Pre-school and can be refunded at the end of the final term.

Nursery Funding

Children are eligible for nursery funding from the term after their third birthday. Parents of two year old children may be eligible for support funding if they are in receipt of certain benefits, please see the Herts Direct website for more details.

Although all funded children will be eligible for fifteen hours free care and education, actual hours will depend on the individual child and family circumstances as well as availability at the
Pre-school. Many children begin with two afternoons or mornings then gradually build up more hours.

Priority for Pre-school hours is given to those children who intend to stay at Morris Minors until they reach compulsory school age. We believe our high staff to child ratio and excellent standards of care and education give children the best possible start in their early years.
