Lunch Club

Lunch-time is an ideal opportunity for children to learn about eating with their friends, a valuable lesson before starting compulsory schooling. Children who stay for lunch must be able to feed themselves and be happy to eat their lunch without the support of their family.

Lunch club is from 12.15pm - 1:00 pm and is available to all children who attend Morris Minors. Lunch time supervision costs £3-00. Children will need a labelled lunch box with a healthy lunch including a drink. Please make sure that there are no nuts in their lunch.

Appropriate foods may include cut fruit, yogurt (together with a spoon), sandwiches or other snacks in manageable sizes. Please make sure that lunch is prepared for your child to eat independently. We do not mind children having a treat provided they eat their lunch first.

Before lunch starts, children are asked to go to the toilet and wash their hands before sitting down to eat. Children are encouraged to sit still and eat with their friends and if time permits may be able to listen to a short story.
